Each petal is a separate piece so it is easy to walk in and moves when you move. Each light yellow petal you see is a good sized pocket. That is a total of 6 pockets. Think of all the stuff you could carry! Free up an arm so you can carry your hula hoop around. This pack is very well made. Each petal and pocket has been top stitched for a nice clean look.
